Who is responsible
Lokale E-Services provides the Lokale website service in New Zealand and is operated by Imee Evangelista Montemayor under NZBN 9429053414618.
Information we collect
- Account, authentication and security information.
- Business details, website briefs, content, images and approved social-media information.
- Website enquiries, support conversations and revision requests.
- Subscription status and Stripe customer or subscription references. Lokale does not store full card numbers or CVCs.
- Service, security, diagnostic and usage events needed to operate and protect the platform.
Why we use it
We use information to create and maintain customer websites, provide previews and support, process authorised billing, secure accounts, prevent abuse, diagnose failures and meet legal obligations. We do not use customer content to make unrelated public claims.
Service providers and overseas processing
Lokale uses service providers for hosting, databases and authentication, payments, transactional email, monitoring, deployment and AI-assisted website work. These providers may process information outside New Zealand under their own security and contractual controls.
AI-assisted work
Approved business facts and relevant instructions may be sent to configured AI providers to draft website content or revisions. Lokale validates generated output and keeps the customer review step; customers should not submit unnecessary sensitive personal information in website briefs.
Security and retention
Lokale applies access controls, tenant isolation, encrypted connections and restricted server-side credentials. We retain information only while it is reasonably needed for the service, security, billing, audit or legal purposes, then delete or de-identify it according to the approved retention policy.
